IndiGo Q3FY26 results show InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (IndiGo) reporting total income of ₹245,406 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, with a net profit of ₹5,491 million, compared to ₹24,488 million in the same period last year, the airline announced on January 22, 2026.
Excluding the impact of exceptional items and foreign exchange movements, IndiGo Q3FY26 net profit stood at ₹31,306 million, compared to ₹38,461 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
IndiGo Q3FY26 Financial Performance Overview
During the quarter, IndiGo faced exceptional items aggregating ₹15,465 million, which included provisions related to the implementation of new labour laws amounting to ₹9,693 million, costs arising from operational disruptions of ₹5,550 million, and a penalty of ₹222 million as per a DGCA order.
Revenue from operations increased by 6.2% year-on-year to ₹234,719 million, while total income rose 6.7% to ₹245,406 million.
Passenger ticket revenue stood at ₹204,640 million, up 6.2%, and ancillary revenue increased 13.6% to ₹24,462 million.

IndiGo Q3FY26 Profitability Metrics
EBITDAR for the quarter was ₹60,084 million, compared to ₹60,587 million in the same quarter last year. EBITDAR excluding foreign exchange impact stood at ₹70,434 million, with an EBITDAR margin of 30.0%.
Profit before tax declined to ₹5,622 million, while profit after tax decreased by 77.6% year-on-year to ₹5,491 million.
IndiGo Q3FY26 Operational Performance
Operationally, IndiGo Q3FY26 saw capacity increase by 11.2% to 45.4 billion ASKs, while passenger numbers grew 2.8% to 31.9 million.
Revenue passenger kilometers rose 8.2% to 38.4 billion. Load factor declined by 2.4 percentage points to 84.6%, and yield decreased 1.8% to ₹5.33.
Fuel CASK declined 2.8% to ₹1.53, while CASK excluding fuel and forex increased 2.2% to ₹2.96.
Commenting on the quarter, IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers stated that the airline faced major operational disruptions between December 3 and 5, resulting in flight cancellations and delays.
He noted that despite these challenges, IndiGo delivered revenue of approximately ₹245 billion and served nearly 32 million customers during the quarter.

IndiGo Q3FY26 Cash, Fleet and Network
As of December 31, 2025, IndiGo held a total cash balance of ₹516,069 million, comprising ₹369,445 million in free cash and ₹146,624 million in restricted cash.
Total debt, including capitalised operating lease liabilities, stood at ₹768,583 million.
IndiGo’s fleet stood at 440 aircraft at the end of the quarter, following a net addition of 23 passenger aircraft.
During the period, the airline operated scheduled services to 96 domestic and 44 international destinations, with a peak of 2,344 daily flights.
IndiGo Q3FY26 Capacity Outlook
For the fourth quarter of FY26, IndiGo expects capacity growth of around 10% in terms of available seat kilometres compared to the same quarter last year.
